After your wedding, your marriage must be legally registered to receive your official marriage certificate. This document is essential for everything from changing your name to applying for joint accounts.
What You Need
- Completed and signed marriage register (form BI-30)
- Two witness signatures
- Marriage officer must submit documents to Home Affairs
- Proof of identification for both spouses
